Marketplace Terms of Service (TOS)

For Students/Users

1. Introduction

Welcome to QueLessly (“Platform”, “we”, “us”). QueLessly is an online marketplace that allows students to place food orders with participating campus canteens and food vendors (“Vendors”). QueLessly facilitates ordering and payments on behalf of Vendors.

By using QueLessly, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

2. Nature of Service

QueLessly is a marketplace platform. We:

  • Provide the technology to place orders.
  • Collect payments from students on behalf of Vendors.
  • Forward payouts to Vendors as per agreed schedules.

We do not manufacture, prepare, or deliver food. Vendors are solely responsible for food quality, preparation, hygiene, pricing, and delivery.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Provide accurate contact details.
  • Pay the full amount at the time of placing the order.
  • Collect the order from the Vendor counter.
  • Not misuse payment systems or fake payment confirmations.

4. Payments

  • All payments for orders are collected by QueLessly via UPI or other payment methods.
  • Once QueLessly receives the payment, the order is marked “Paid” and auto-confirmed.
  • QueLessly then settles the payment with the Vendor as per the Vendor Agreement.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds may be approved only when:

  • The Vendor is unable to prepare the order.
  • The order was never fulfilled.

Refunds are issued by QueLessly after confirming with the Vendor. Processing time: 2–5 business days depending on UPI/bank partner policies.

We reserve the right to reject refund requests in cases of misuse or fraud.

6. Platform Fees

QueLessly may charge a convenience fee or a service fee. This will be clearly displayed before payment.

7. Liability

QueLessly is not responsible for:

  • Food quality, safety, hygiene, or allergens
  • Delays in order preparation
  • Incorrect items provided by Vendors
  • Vendor-side disputes

Maximum liability of QueLessly is limited to the amount you paid for the order.

8. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors are solely responsible for:

  • Order accuracy
  • Food safety & hygiene
  • Quality & preparation
  • Delivery/handing over the order
  • Handling complaints related to food

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding:

  • Payments → QueLessly
  • Food quality → Vendor
  • Cancellations/refunds → QueLessly + Vendor jointly

If unresolved, disputes are governed by the laws of India and jurisdiction of Pune, Maharashtra.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective once published.
